The Languedoc is probably the best region for golf in the whole of France . Languedoc-Roussillon has twenty excellent golf courses, which are open to residents and tourists at reasonable cost.

Unlike the golf courses in Scotland or Paris , in the Languedoc you can more often guarantee fine weather and sunshine, which makes the game a pleasure. And of course there is the friendly welcome that one usually finds in the Midi , South of France, plenty of gastronomic restaurants to discover and historic sites to visit. The golf course at Carcassonne has daily green fees, it has 18 holes with challenging lakes and streams, each hole is unique, and there are lovely views of the Pyrenees . Clubs, trolleys and cars are available for hire. Your day's green fee includes the use of the practice area and restaurant, bar etc.
